Our Group has two advanced lithium-ion battery production plants, as well as two new energy electric vehicle plants. The project on the construction of a core plant capable of producing 100,000 all-electric vehicles per year is now in full swing.

The new plant covers an area of 1,150 mu and construction is divided into two phases. State-of-the-art production facilities for five major processes (stamping, welding, painting, assembly and electric control) are to be built according to high standards and specifications. Gross floor area of approximately 300,000 m2 will be built in Phase I. The plants can currently produce light, medium and large-sized new energy electric coaches and commercial vehicles. Plants will be built into the largest as well as the most advanced and reliable production base for the industrialization of new energy electric vehicles, thereby promoting the spread and application of new energy electric vehicles.

We are working on new series of new energy electric vehicles which achieved major breakthroughs: all-electric medium luxury coaches as well as light and medium commercial vehicles were successfully produced in the first round of trials in December and two rounds of trial production and testing for tooling prototype were completed by now. The prototypes have accumulated more than 20,000 km of test running, particularly getting through numerous tests conducted under severe temperatures of minus 30-40 degrees.

At the same time, the development and manufacturing of tooling and molds for new products have been fully completed and small batch production is planned in the fourth quarter of this year. The design of all-electric mini SUVs was also completed and tooling development and manufacturing have been officially launched. The first round of trial production and experimental verification for tooling prototype will begin in September of this year and mass production will be started in June. Design data for brand new 12-meter all-electric electric buses has entered a frozen state and experimental verification of tooling prototypes is ongoing. Small batch production is scheduled to take place in the fourth quarter of this year.

Acting as the main force, we will make outstanding contributions to China in her inevitable course from a major automobile country to a strong automobile nation through the development of new energy vehicles and will actively and fully cooperate with the Chinese government in the pilot work for promoting the second batch of new energy electric vehicles across 87 cities in order to do one’s bit for building a green and beautiful homeland.
