Anyone who gets their money and places it into some venture, does it because they are expecting something in return. That is why people are often disappointed or even become angry when they either lose their money or never get a profit on it. The thing about profits though, is that they don't just happen, you have to be very intentional. If you put your money anywhere, then it's inevitable for you to make losses. Often we like to follow the crowd and invest where everyone is investing, and because we want to get rich so quick, we often choose those high yield investments that look attractive, before you know it, you find out it was a scam and you've just lost all your money. That's why wisdom is very necessary if you are to realize your investment interests.

The purpose of the investment. For example, your investment interests may be to earn an income (regular payments such as dividends or interest) or to grow (raising your capital at the maturity of the investment) or to keep your capital safe. This information also relates to your willingness to accept your risk and your inclination to risk.
Before you make any investment, you need to fix your target and learn as much as possible about it. You can't just venture in something that is like a stranger for you, you may lose everythig.
So, be careful what you chose and how will you deal with it because the sock investment is so risky but, if you know how to own it, you win.
